About the Role

We are seeking an experienced internal auditor to join our team as an Audit Methodology Trainer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering audit methodology training to our internal audit team members and new hires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new hire audit methodology curriculum/programs
  • Develop and deliver audit-related training program components to diverse groups of auditors
  • Review and ensure that all training content is aligned with our internal audit methodologies
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver meaningful training sessions
  • Assist in the annual training needs analysis to inform and develop a formal department-wide training and development curriculum
  • Enhance the Training & Professional Development Program to achieve the strategic objectives of our internal audit leadership team
  • Create communications for new and ongoing learning initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong training and facilitation skills
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of internal audit methodologies
  • Solid leadership skills
  • 3+ years of experience in internal or external audit
  • Experience delivering impactful training programs
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation design skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor degree in accounting or finance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant professional certifications (CISA, CIA, CPA)
