Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans to ensure alignment with regional and global leadership.
  • Oversee indirect purchasing categories, including MRO, packaging materials, CapEx, and service contracts.
  • Lead comprehensive saving programs across regional sites, driving cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Implement and govern purchasing processes, ensuring compliance with global requirements and established KPIs.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, internal counterparts, and the SCM management team.
  • Assess and monitor supplier performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity, ensuring Siegwerk remains competitive in the industry.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in indirect purchasing, with a strong background in procurement and supply chain management.
  • CapEx project purchasing experience, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field, such as SCM or Operations.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, including COUPA and SAP.
  • Experience with RFP and contract processes, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
