The Research Institute Company Limited is seeking a qualified professional for the role of Senior Engineer specializing in Mechatronic Systems. This position is pivotal in driving innovation and enhancing our capabilities in the field of robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced Robotic Systems for Factory Automation.
- Design and execute solutions based on project requirements, system architecture, and validation specifications.
- Collaborate with academic institutions and industry partners to apply Robotic Systems effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and adhere to ISO processes.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D.) are advantageous.
- Familiarity with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) is preferred.
- Knowledge of Robotic Systems, including Manipulators, Autonomous Mobile Robots, and Mobile Manipulators.
- Proficiency in Robot Operating System (ROS) and associated software packages.
- Strong analytical and communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- A collaborative team player who embodies the values of the Research Institute Company Limited.
Employment Terms
The position is offered on renewable contract terms, accompanied by a competitive salary and performance-based variable pay. Benefits include paid leave, medical insurance coverage, and contributions to the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF). The typical work schedule is five days a week.
