About the Job:

As a registered nurse in our ICU, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and provide care based on identified needs and physician orders according to standards, policy, and procedure.
  • The RN develops and implements patient education plans, communicates and collaborates with other team members to facilitate delivery of care, and is responsible for the patient for whom care is provided.
  • Collaborative relationships with medical staff and other members of the healthcare team are essential, as well as maintaining a cooperative working relationship with ancillary departments.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally, in writing, and utilization of the EMR.
  • Oversees the unit's operations in the absence of the Director or CNO and collaborates with them on an as-needed basis.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.


Requirements:

  • MS RN license
  • Associate degree in Nursing, Bachelor's preferred
  • BLS certification, ACLS preferred
  • New Grads welcome
