Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic - Maintenance Technician to join our team at Transdev. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
- Diagnostic and Repair: Diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, suspensions, and transmissions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to prevent breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets high standards of quality and safety.
- Education and Experience: 3+ years of experience in diesel or CNG repair, or a combination of education and experience.
- Certifications: ASE certifications preferred, with ability to obtain through company training and testing.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to read and interpret safety documents, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams.
- Physical Demands: Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including background and drug test.
