We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic - Maintenance Tech - C to join our team at Transdev. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles, including brake, engine, and suspension systems.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
- At least 3 years of experience in diesel or CNG repair, or a combination of education and experience.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and airbrake endorsements.
- ASE certifications preferred, with a commitment to ongoing certification and training.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and background check.
