About the Role

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Lending Technology & Service Support team as a Summer Associate Intern. As a Summer Associate, you will gain valuable experience in providing technical support to our Lending business partners and developing automation solutions using Application Development, Robotic Process Automation, and Testing/QA.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and prepare reference materials to support automation solutions
  • Participate in team-driven projects and initiatives to develop new automated systems, products, and services
  • Develop and administer online reference materials, instructions, and communications
  • Maintain documentation libraries to ensure currency of processes
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve technical, tactical, and operational project issues and risks
  • Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and loans
  • Ensure software and systems meet regulatory and procedural requirements
  • Research, develop, and recommend enhancements to improve operational processes and procedures
  • Identify and detect errors and omissions, and resolve or arrange for resolution
  • Serve as a subject matter expert regarding business functions, systems, policies, and procedures
  • Work with other business units to resolve systems and equipment issues
  • Perform research for process improvements
  • Recommend corrective action when discrepancies are identified

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective skill in maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Power BI
  • Desired - Communication with impact and commitment to self-development
  • Desired - exposure to SQL, VB.net, AutoIT, C#, Java, JavaScript, SharePoint, PEGA, and/or similar
