We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our behavioral health unit, ensuring that patient care is provided in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and respond to medical needs of patients under the guidance of physicians
  • Conduct safety checks and implement appropriate behavioral management techniques
  • Maintain the core values and mission of Universal Health Services
  • Assist the staffing coordinator with RN and Mental Health Associate staffing
  • Communicate any issues to the other members of the nursing management team
  • Conduct round audits
Requirements
  • Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred
  • Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation
  • Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred
  • ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred
  • CPR certification required
