Position Summary:

We are looking for a proficient Senior Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in servicing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks. Knowledge of refrigeration systems is advantageous. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a readiness to assist in various maintenance areas as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, determining root causes and implementing effective solutions promptly.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of defective components, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Install new equipment following manufacturer specifications, ensuring proper setup and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts usage, and equipment status for reporting purposes.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while working on-site or in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate repairs, parts orders, and service schedules.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Commercial Kitchen Service Technician or in a similar capacity, ideally in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, including gas and electric appliances, HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and refrigeration.
  • Technical expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for thorough documentation and efficient service delivery.
  • Completion of a technical school program in HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, or a related field.
Education and Certification:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical school program in HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant certifications such as CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Association), EPA, or similar credentials are advantageous.

Compensation: Pay rates will be determined based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment. The pay range for this position is $25—$30 USD.
