Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Beverage Innovation Scientist to become an integral part of our Flavors division in North America. This role is essential for driving product development and innovation within our beverage sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and formulate beverage products that showcase Sensient's extensive product portfolio while maintaining clear communication with the Applications Manager regarding project progress.
- Exhibit leadership by merging creative and technical skills within a collaborative team setting, actively participating in cross-functional projects.
- Explore and prioritize new technologies and ingredients that can offer groundbreaking solutions to industry challenges.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring timely communication with the Sales team to meet client objectives effectively.
- Leverage the expertise of our creative flavorists and sensory teams to deliver flavor systems that align with project goals.
- Occasionally accompany Account Representatives on client visits to provide insights into our capabilities and assist in addressing product and process challenges.
- Engage in pilot plant operations, assisting in equipment management and product testing.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in beverage and/or flavor product development.
