We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Job SummaryThe Occupational Therapist will assess clients' physical, cognitive, and behavioral abilities, and develop personalized treatment plans to enhance their occupational performance. This may include evaluating and treating individuals with functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments, and providing education and training to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and behavioral abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide education and training to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes
- Document client information and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in occupational therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be licensed in the state(s) of practice as an Occupational Therapist, and certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) when working at a Sanford Health Facility.
