Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their full potential. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate therapist to join our team and provide high-quality care to our seniors.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to develop personalized therapy plans.
  • Design and implement occupational therapy programs to help residents maintain and recover their ability to perform daily tasks.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Document resident progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Provide education and training to residents and their families to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.
Requirements
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
  • Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
  • When working at a Sanford Health Facility (not required but preferred for GSS Facilities): Must also be certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
