The Good Samaritan Society is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform tasks in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of clients/patients/residents
- Develop realistic therapy goals and administer appropriate occupational therapy programs
- Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans
- Provide education to clients/patients/residents to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes
Requirements:
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
- Licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist
- Certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) when working at a Sanford Health Facility
