Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing quality care to patients in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including criminal, psychological, and substance abuse case history assessments, and make treatment recommendations.
  • Perform clinically sound suicide risk evaluations, applying assessment protocols and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff from all classifications to enhance professional working relationships and ensure quality care.
  • Conduct crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews with mentally ill inmates.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests, write clinical reports, and develop treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • CA PSYL License
  • PhD or PsyD (Required)
  • Minimum of 12 continuous months of experience within the last 3 years performing services similar
  • 2 References
