Job Summary

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Correctional Psychologist to provide psychological services to mentally ill inmates/wards in a correctional facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology and experience working with mentally ill populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological services to mentally ill inmates/wards, including initial mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, and group psychotherapy.
  • Conduct clinically sound suicide risk evaluations and develop treatment plans to ensure the safety of inmates.
  • Work effectively with staff to enhance the quality of professional working relationships and provide input on new programs for the treatment, training, or rehabilitation of patient-inmates/youths.
  • Comprehend and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures regarding patient confidentiality, written and electronic medical record documentation, and the release of patient records.
Requirements
  • Valid and active California Psychology license.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years and performing services similar in scope to those defined herein.
