As a Customs Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating a seamless and prompt customs process
- Ensuring precise and timely data entry into our operational systems
- Monitoring and reporting on customs files
- Managing accurate and timely billing for clients
- Interpreting and applying the import and export customs Desk Level Operating Procedures to meet customer expectations.
- Transferring customs declaration data from various documents into the customs entry system to create valid declarations
- Assisting in the verification of customs declaration information and submitting it to the relevant authorities
- Maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to listen, understand, and communicate effectively
- Proactive with excellent organizational abilities
- A keen interest in learning and professional development
- Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English is required
- Reports to Customs Brokerage Lead Agent, Supervisor, and Manager
