Role Expectations:

As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of our devices across various states. Your duties will include:

  • Traveling to rural locations to install and service devices at multiple farm sites, potentially visiting between 1 to 50 locations in a single day.
  • Performing site-specific tasks such as disinfecting equipment, climbing feed bins ranging from 10 to 40 feet, and installing sensors along with small solar panels inside the bins, with installations typically completed in a matter of minutes.
  • Troubleshooting basic issues with field devices as needed.
  • Adhering to biosecurity protocols as required by each farm.
  • Keeping accurate records of mileage and time worked.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification for working at heights, with a comprehensive understanding of fall protection equipment.
  • Clean driving record and the ability to drive for extended periods.
  • Reliable smartphone and basic proficiency in its use for measurements.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers in English.
  • Positive attitude and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Strong work ethic, self-respect, and respect for others.
  • Trustworthy, punctual, and dependable.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Physically capable of climbing and lifting over 50 lbs.

  • Background in electronics.
