The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled and physically fit Laborer to join our team on the 183 N. Mobility Project in Austin, Texas. As a Laborer, you will perform a variety of tasks involving physical labor, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks involving physical labor, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation.
  • Work with a crew to complete tasks, including operating hand and power tools as directed by management.
  • Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding, removing debris, and digging trenches.
  • Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of verifiable experience in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
  • Requires good manual dexterity and ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
