Job Summary

Western Specialty Contractors is seeking a skilled and motivated Skilled Laborer to join our team in Austin, TX. As a Skilled Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks related to masonry, waterproofing, caulking, and concrete repair
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of building envelopes, including windows, doors, and roofing
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment, such as saws, drills, and sanders
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a trade or construction-related field
  • Ability to read and comprehend safety policies and instructions
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures
