Job Summary

This role is located in Greenville, South Carolina. Under the direction of the vascular lab manager and medical director, the Vascular Sonographer performs all vascular lab exams. Provides quality patient care using vascular lab physiological and ultrasound equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs most modalities of peripheral vascular studies (i.e. duplex imaging, Doppler and plethysmography of upper and lower extremity vasculature, abdominal viscera, carotid vasculature and/or intracranial vessels).
  • Reviews images and paperwork to ensure quality exams are complete, thorough and prepared for review by reading physicians.
  • Rotates to multiple vascular lab locations as scheduled and required by the IAC.
  • Participates in the daily workflow by watching the technologist worklist to ensure timely patient care.
  • Operates all vascular lab testing equipment and software packages including but not limited to ultrasound and physiological equipment, EMR and Structured Reporting and PACS.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree - Graduate of a formal/Director approved Radiology or Sonography program.
  • One-year Vascular Sonography experience performing non-invasive vascular lab studies.
  • Required Certifications, Registries, Licenses: ARDMS- RVT or CCI(RVS).
