Exciting Opportunity for a Part-Time Showroom Operations Specialist in our Warrensville Heights, OH location.

Position Overview:

As a Showroom Operations Specialist at Virginia Tile, you will play a crucial role in assisting the showroom team in engaging with design professionals and homeowners throughout the tile selection process. Your responsibilities will include maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient sample room and showroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage weekly ordering and receiving of tile samples, ensuring accurate labeling and proper shelving in the sample room.
  • Uphold the showroom's appearance by returning samples used during consultations to their designated displays or the sample room, restocking materials, and maintaining a tidy sample area.
  • Attend regularly scheduled showroom meetings to discuss company updates, processes, and assignments related to: 1) Safety 2) General Business Operations 3) Showroom Management 4) Product Training, Merchandising, Marketing, and Sales Support 5) Customer Service Excellence 6) Product Knowledge and Industry Insights.
  • Welcome customers entering the showroom, guiding them to selections, and connecting them with a Design Consultant for assistance.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture by engaging in team-building activities, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with showroom and Virginia Tile associates.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer relationship management abilities.
  • Basic mathematical calculation skills.
  • Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and work instructions.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution capabilities.
  • High integrity and strong work ethic.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • At least 1 year of experience in the design industry.
  • Solid understanding of retail and/or wholesale sales principles and practices.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous.
