We are in search of a proactive and seasoned Chief Nursing Officer to oversee our Surgical Oncology division. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional patient care, and guiding a team of committed healthcare professionals. This position demands a visionary leader capable of enhancing performance, implementing optimal practices, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards within the unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide the Surgical Oncology nursing staff, ensuring the provision of superior patient care.
  • Formulate and execute policies, procedures, and standards for the unit to guarantee compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care strategies for oncology patients.
  • Assess patient outcomes and devise strategies to enhance care delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Oversee departmental budgets, resources, and staffing to maximize operational effectiveness.
  • Promote a supportive work environment through mentorship, professional growth opportunities, and performance assessments.
  • Stay informed on advancements in oncology care and integrate evidence-based practices into unit operations.
  • Participate in hospital-wide committees and initiatives to further organizational objectives.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with physicians, healthcare providers, patients, and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
  • A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
