Position Overview

Norco, Inc. is actively looking for a dedicated individual to take on the role of Medical Equipment Sanitation Specialist. This position involves the thorough cleaning and restoration of various medical devices, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional assessments on diverse medical apparatus.
  • Re-certify medical devices in accordance with CMS and accreditation body requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of cleaned equipment within the TIMS Equipment Tracking System (ETS) Notes.
  • Prepare serviced medical devices for shipment, ensuring they are properly bagged and tagged with a Clean, Test, Bag, Tag (CTBT) label indicating readiness for patient use.
  • Investigate maintenance records in TIMS ETS for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Engage with customers, vendors, colleagues, and management regarding equipment servicing matters.
  • Serve as a backup Route Delivery Driver when necessary.
  • Organize and optimize delivery routes on a daily basis.
  • Deliver durable medical equipment and related home care supplies to designated locations.
  • Safeguard patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Manage the retrieval of rental return items, ensuring proper handling and placement in the designated return area.
  • Provide orientation to patients/clients on the correct usage of equipment.
  • Collaborate with patients/clients to address a variety of issues, acting as a representative of the company in the field.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned or required.

Compensation: $20-$21/Hr DOE
