Position Overview:
PeopleShare is actively seeking a HYBRID Credit and Collections Representative. Our client is a prominent player in the hospitality sector, known for its exceptional workplace culture and growth opportunities.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time: Monday – Friday 8AM - 5PM (2 days remote work)

Compensation:
Pay rate: $25-$27/hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate orders placed on credit hold and decide based on company guidelines whether to release the order or maintain the hold until the customer's account issues are resolved.
  • Recover outstanding payments from overdue accounts within a designated portfolio and offer support to Territory Managers as needed.
  • Address inquiries, respond to customer correspondence, and manage phone requests, including bi-weekly overdue notices.
  • Assess the financial stability and creditworthiness of potential customers applying for credit.
  • Advise on customers suitable for litigation outsourcing and prepare necessary documentation for the Credit & Collections Manager's review.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in credit and collections.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Outlook).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) and credit reporting tools (Dun & Bradstreet, Experian).
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to effectively present information and address inquiries from suppliers, customers, management, and internal teams.
  • Adept at planning, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
