Surgical Technologist Clinical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director for our Surgical Technologist program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our students and the quality of our program.
Key Responsibilities:
Secure new clinical sites and contractual agreements to provide students with hands-on experience.
Monitor student success rates and implement strategies to reduce withdrawals, ensuring an 80% student success rate for all classes taught in the program.
Conduct orientation for students at each clinical education site and maintain student grades in accordance with established policies.
Evaluate student performance and make necessary provisions to meet learning needs, visiting clinical sites to review and evaluate students' clinical performance and progress.
Coordinate with site instructors to ensure clinical education is effective and develop clinical objectives and evaluations.
May assist the Program Director with student applicants for admission into the program and prepare lesson plans and instruct students in Surgical Technologist methods and techniques.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Associates program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Baccalaureate degree preferred.
Three (3) years of operating room experience in the scrub role within the last five (5) years and/or (3) years teaching in the field of surgical technology.
Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience as an instructor in a Surgical Technologist program preferred.
Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required through a national certification program accredited by the National Commission on Certifying agencies (NCCA).
Must hold current license, registration, certification, or other designations as required by local, state, or federal laws to work in the field.
Verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and other computer skills.
