Surgical Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in good working order.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization
* Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you will be supporting
* Adapt to the needs of emergency situations
* Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED
* Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience as a surgical technologist
* American Heart Association BLS
* Preferred: Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program and certified as a surgical technologist plus two years clinical experience
