Job Overview

Position: Batch Operator

Compensation: $17.00/hr

Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7am to 5:30pm with potential overtime on Fridays

Key Responsibilities:

As a Batch Operator, your primary duties will include:

  • Receiving batch tickets from the Supervisor detailing the formula to be produced.
  • Reviewing batch tickets for procedural adherence, special instructions, and necessary safety equipment.
  • Verifying that the batch ticket aligns with all materials ordered for the production area.
  • Securing supervisory approval to initiate the batch processing. Adding materials to batches in accordance with ticket specifications.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation of batch production, including lot numbers, weights, approvals, rework, rinse additions, and final batch size.
  • Obtaining supervisory consent for batch transfers and ensuring the readiness of transfer vessels, following established procedures.
  • Cleaning all equipment utilized at the conclusion of the production run.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Conducting routine maintenance on batch production equipment, including oiling, greasing, and cleaning, while reporting any equipment issues to supervision.
  • Assisting in packaging tasks as necessary, especially for bulk order production.
Qualifications:

To be considered for the Batch Operator role, candidates should possess:

  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to adjust formulas for batch sizes as required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • The capability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
