Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled senior developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and engineering, with experience in COTS product development and integration.

The primary responsibilities of this role include maintaining and enhancing complex operational software systems, interacting with government project leadership on priorities, developing task estimates, and providing input to government roadmaps.

Other key activities include conducting upgrades, debugging existing software, correcting defects, integrating existing software into new or modified systems, and operating environments, investigating and analyzing user problems, and identifying potential solutions.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in software development and engineering
  • Ten (10) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with JavaScript and XML
  • Understanding of Linux server environment
  • Willingness to embrace challenges and seek to become an expert in the products
  • Experience with COTS integration
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation
  • Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting computer systems and software
  • Must be able to work during core hours of 10 am-2 pm Monday - Friday
  • Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience closely collaborating with the government customer and managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS or C2S
  • Experience with Java and JavaScript, Oracle and SQL databases
  • Familiarity with ARCHIBUS, agile development methodologies
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira, and experience with Perceptive Content or any content management or workflow management suite
