Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, working closely with physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe positioning
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and regulations
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any abnormalities or concerns
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of images and documents to PACS
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required
  • Radiologic Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
  • Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program certification required
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required
