Geotechnical Principal

Job Summary

ECS Limited is seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Principal to join our team. As a key member of our geotechnical department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and supporting geotechnical staff in a branch and region. This role requires a strong background in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on providing technical solutions to clients and ECS staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support to geotechnical staff in a branch and region
• Host or attend project meetings with clients and/or ECS staff to provide technical solutions
• Mentor Associate Principals and participate in the review committee for candidates seeking Associate Principal designation
• Oversee projects, perform technical report reviews, prepare and review proposals, and assist with management of the department and P&L
• Develop and maintain client interactions, assist with business development, and lead and coach junior staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar
• 12 years of related experience
• Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in each state where you work
