Service Quality Specialist

Ferrellgas is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Quality Specialist to join our remote team. As a Service Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our customers. This is a seasonal position that offers the opportunity to work from home while being part of an amazing customer service team.
About the RoleYou will take inbound and outbound telephone calls, work with internal and external customers to ensure a high-quality customer service experience, and report to your local office as needed. Your primary goal will be to sustain and improve business relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Work with customers daily to sustain and improve business relationships.
- Use fact-finding sales methods to customize Ferrellgas programs and services to meet customer needs and strive to obtain new business.
- Ensure accurate account setup, maintenance, and closure of all customer account information.
- Handle customer issues by following the customer complaint resolution policy.
- Perform soft collections for customers on credit hold or past due as well as some cash handling.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years' experience in customer service.
- Willingness to report to local office if needed, dependent on business requirements.
- Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with typing and data entry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and developing positive rapport with company employees and customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
- Applicants must not require sponsorship for an employment visa.
- Windows 10 computers or higher operating system.
- Computer must have 8GB of RAM but preferably 16GB.
- Hardwired to the modem is preferred.
- Minimum cable or DSL speeds of 100MB with 10MB upload speed.
- The use of hotspots of any type is not stable or suitable from any internet provider.
- Apple computers can be utilized, but nothing lower than 14.0 (High Sierra OS).
- Use of dual monitors is preferred but not required.
Estimated salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
