Job Overview

The RN Education and Quality Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring education services and quality measures support patient care leadership, clinical staff, and patients. This position requires an independent, critical thinker who demonstrates effective decision-making, problem-solving skills, flexibility, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Orient newly hired patient care employees and onboarding students in various medical education programs.
  • Develop, update, and deliver continuing education to current staff.
  • Analyze quality measure data specific to the clinic and take action to improve workflows and data reporting to governing bodies.
  • Maintain strong understanding of Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) quality measures applicable to all patient populations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Relevant clinical experience; teaching adult learners; development of learning materials.
  • Current Wisconsin RN license or eligible; CPR certification; proficiency in computer applications required for the role.
  • Excellent decision-making, organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
Compensation and Benefits

$85,000 - $95,000 per year, including comprehensive benefits such as 401(k), dental insurance, disability insurance, employee assistance program, flexible spending account, free parking, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, referral program, vision insurance, and more.

Work Environment and Location

This role requires working in a combination of office and exam settings, with split work time between independent projects and teaching/coaching contact with providers and medical staff. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a busy environment with competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.
