Your Role: As the Manufacturing Operations Leader, you will oversee production processes, ensuring that operational objectives are met while establishing effective policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing and packaging operations to optimize asset returns.
  • Develop and implement processes aimed at reducing manufacturing and packaging expenses through effective resource utilization.
  • Ensure that business targets and production timelines are met while maintaining product quality that surpasses customer expectations.
  • Formulate and uphold manufacturing and packaging strategies that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Establish accountability within teams for problem-solving and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Promote innovative techniques and a focus on data-driven problem-solving.
  • Enhance workforce efficiency within existing operations, ensuring stability in scheduling for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor budget expenditures in relation to production volume fluctuations.
  • Foster a management culture that encourages employee engagement and constructive feedback.
  • Continuously improve safety protocols by addressing both physical safety concerns and employee safety mindsets.
  • Stay updated on the latest packaging and production management practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a team of professionals and/or support staff.
  • Ability to lead and enhance plant operations through data-driven strategies, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including independent thought, organization, and planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP is highly desirable.
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Work Environment: This position is onsite.
