Manufacturing Operations Specialist

Job Title:
Manufacturing Technician D
This role contributes to the company's success by overseeing and monitoring units, boards, and modules in the test process. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting and training technical staff to component level. They will ensure that test stations are running efficiently, highlight technical issues to engineering and quality teams, and work with rework expeditors to prevent units from aging excessively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure test stations are running at optimal rates.
- Identify and report technical issues affecting yield and test throughput to engineering and quality teams.
- Collaborate with rework expeditors to prevent units from aging more than one week.
- Perform functions associated with manufacturing operations, including working with engineers on setup and calibration tasks, rework, and quality testing.
- Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data for on-line adjustments.
- Determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- Work with engineers to conduct experiments and provide training to lower-level technicians on Falcon III products.
Requirements:
This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Preferred qualifications include working knowledge and hands-on experience in radio manufacturing (test and diagnostics to include component, board, module, and radio level) and prior exposure to L3Harris products.
