Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investigator to join our team in the Office of the Insurance Commissioner. As an Investigator, you will play a critical role in protecting consumers and ensuring the integrity of the insurance industry in Washington state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations of insurance law violations and complaints
  • Analyze complex data and evidence to determine the legal elements of a case
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for regulatory action
  • Collaborate with other investigators and regulatory agencies to share knowledge and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance laws and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, law, finance)
  • 2+ years of experience in investigative work, regulatory compliance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
