Key Responsibilities:
- Lead worship services and administer sacraments.
- Deliver sermons on a monthly basis.
- Conduct special ceremonies including weddings, funerals, and memorials as required.
- Facilitate Bible study sessions.
- Engage in pastoral care visits to those who are ill, homebound, hospitalized, or grieving, in collaboration with the Visitation Ministry Team and Lead Pastor.
- Support and participate in the Ministry Area Leadership Team (MALTs) as needed.
- Meet weekly with a Pastoral Peace Team for mutual support and encouragement.
- Ensure that annual ministry goals are met within set timelines and budgets.
- Recruit, train, and oversee ministry team members to fulfill ministry-related tasks.
- Attend and contribute to necessary meetings.
- Provide required written documentation and reports.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Recognizable calling, gifts, and abilities in pastoral ministry.
- Progressing towards or eligible for certified ordination in Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC).
- Bachelor's degree and working towards or completed a Master of Divinity degree.
- Proficient in computer usage and software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities.
- Commitment to uphold the standards of conduct of Richland Lutheran Church.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Possession or ability to obtain a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Capability to lift 40 pounds unaided and move objects over a distance of 40 feet.
- Successful completion of a background check.

Compensation: Salary range of $59,365 - $90,618 annually (includes housing allowance).
