Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical assessments.
  • Gather clinical information, including vital signs and laboratory specimens.
  • Conduct assessments related to occupational health.
  • Ensure precise patient coding for accurate medical records.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient medical histories.
  • Act as the clinical leader for on-site medical personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid New York license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current DEA certification is required.

Educational Background:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • NCCPA registration is mandatory.
  • State licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is essential.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in an Emergency Room or Urgent Care environment; critical care experience is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sound clinical judgment are essential.
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in emergency situations.
  • Familiarity with scientific methodologies and national care standards for patient management.
  • Proficiency in computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems is necessary.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills is required.
  • Adherence to HIPAA regulations is mandatory.
