Position Overview

The Finance – Operations Analyst is tasked with collaborating closely with both operations and finance teams to guarantee precise production planning, validate manufacturing cost accuracy, and oversee cash flow expectations. This role is dynamic and demands a proactive, results-oriented professional with a background in the Pharmaceutical sector, alongside expertise in project management and demand forecasting. A solid grasp of business priorities, supply agreements, and the ability to synchronize manufacturing processes to ensure prompt delivery of customer orders is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with Operations leadership to strategize manufacturing activities, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders as the company expands into international markets.
  • Coordinate resources and team efforts to deliver products in alignment with plans, contractual commitments, and organizational objectives.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve production challenges, constraints, and risks effectively.
  • Prepare management updates comparing planned versus actual outcomes, highlighting any risks or delays along with proposed solutions.
  • Assume accountability for assigned tasks and ensure alignment across various departments.

Support Functions

  • Provide ongoing support to Operations, Finance, and Executive teams by serving as the primary contact for internal information sharing and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain bills of materials within the ERP system and accurately record daily operational activities, including material issuance, consumption, and batch completion.
  • Develop demand plans to align manufacturing and procurement with customer orders, ensuring the company meets customer needs while promptly advising management of any constraints.
  • Manage third-party customer orders, adjusting quantities as necessary.
  • Assist in project planning, reporting, and effective communication across all departments, vendors, and customers.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all manufacturing operations among internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, procurement, and finance, as well as external vendors and customers, to foster excellent service and partnerships.
  • Maintain strong relationships and serve as a trusted team member for all communications.
  • Report monthly to management on the successful execution of batches from initiation to closure, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Build and sustain robust cross-functional relationships internally to facilitate success and alignment with business objectives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Generate ad hoc reports as requested by Operations and/or Finance based on operational demands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business management or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience; project management experience is a plus.
  • Preferred proficiency with ERP systems, including Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Accounting modules, along with experience in maintaining project organization within automated systems.
  • Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is essential.
  • Strong understanding of drug product manufacturing and commercialization; experience with biologics is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask across projects of varying complexity.
  • Strong team collaboration skills are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in project management techniques, practices, and principles.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Work Environment

The general work environment requires the ability to perform essential job functions successfully. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial. Some travel may be required.
