Job Summary

Campus Auxiliary Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Supervise and train culinary staff to ensure exceptional food preparation and presentation
  • Manage food costs, labor budgets, and inventory control to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new menu concepts and promotions
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
  • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Participate in management team meetings and contribute to the development of business strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a large-scale dining venue
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, food cost control, and labor management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
