Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Marine Systems Sales Manager for the US & Canada.
Your Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be entrusted with driving the sales of products, systems, and services within the Marine Sector, aligned with the strategic objectives of the division. Your daily tasks will involve meeting both qualitative and quantitative sales goals to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will demonstrate your expertise by identifying and nurturing new sales prospects. This role operates under a remote work model and contributes to the Process Automation Marine & Ports division. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Marketing products, systems, and services to clients, with a focus on achieving volume, mix, and profitability objectives for the designated divisions.
- Building and sustaining effective client relationships to comprehend their requirements, enhancing their understanding of ABB's comprehensive offerings, and collaborating with them to deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensuring a positive client experience throughout the sales journey.
- Formulating sales strategies utilizing ABB-approved tools.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in customer-facing and/or business development roles is required, with 10 years or more being advantageous.
- Recent experience in the marine sector is strongly preferred.
- Candidates must possess valid work authorization to be employed by ABB in the US.
