Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our Industrial Products assurance team at RSM US LLP. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse client engagements and contribute to the growth and success of our practice.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional client service, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of audit services, including financial statement audits and related disclosures.
- Assess risk and design audit procedures to engagement teams, utilizing RSM's Audit Methodology.
- Manage multiple engagement teams, preparing end-of-engagement evaluations for staff and monitoring work product.
- Supervise Audit Seniors and Supervisors, facilitating field work and monitoring productivity and adherence to work plan schedules.
- Maintain client relationships throughout the year, understanding the impact of significant developments on current year audit engagements.
- Develop others within the Firm through training, coaching, and career development initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry publications and share relevant information with clients.
- Anticipate and address client concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Senior Managers and Partners.
- Ensure professional development through ongoing education and training.
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree.
- CPA or CA Certification.
- 5+ years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring associates.
- Understanding of audit services, GAAP, GAAS, and FASB or IFRS regulations.
- A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships.
- Minimum of 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing staff on multiple engagements.
- A successful record of directing and deploying staff and senior associates on multiple, simultaneous engagements.
- Fluency in French, German, Japanese, or Mandarin, including speaking, writing, and reading with a deep understanding of the culture and business practices within the country of fluency.
- Proven track record of managing relationships with large non-US companies with significant operations in North America.
