Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team at Bausch + Lomb. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for managing the St. Louis Supplier Quality function and associated activities for the qualification and maintenance of new and existing suppliers. This includes direct supervision of Supplier Quality personnel and ensuring adequate support of Purchasing and Operations with source identification, evaluation, and selection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Supplier Quality Team, including Engineers, Technicians, and Inspectors.
  • Ensure adequate Supplier Quality representation in internal project meetings and implementation readiness reviews.
  • Develop and maintain local supplier management procedures to ensure regulatory, local, and corporate requirements are met.
  • Represent Supplier Quality function during internal and external audits and management reviews.
  • Ensure performance of supplier audits for new and existing suppliers to assure products/services meet the requirements of applicable standards, regulations, product specifications, and B+L local and corporate requirements.
Requirements
  • BS in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects with limited direct supervision.
  • 7+ years Quality experience in the Medical Device Manufacturing industry (or other regulated industry) and 5+ years in supplier quality related processes.
