Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Medical Documentation Specialist to join our team at La Maestra Community Health Centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician.
  • Document patient history, review of systems, past medical and surgical history, family and social histories, medications and allergies.
  • Document physical examination findings and procedures as performed by the physician.
  • Ensure that all clinical data, lab or other test results, the interpretation of the results by the physician are recorded accurately in the medical record.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a clinical office or hospital setting as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
