Job Summary

The Manufacturing Mechanic II is a critical role within our production facility, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless operation and minimize disruptions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain a high level of technical expertise.
Requirements
  • 2 years of education beyond high school in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of plant maintenance and high-speed production equipment.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with production teams and other stakeholders.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to noise, wet conditions, and extreme temperatures. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in this environment and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
