About the Role:

Hays Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the electrical systems of various projects within the MEP consultancy field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical systems for existing buildings
  • Collaborate with clients to define project requirements and parameters
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive designs
  • Prepare detailed contract documents suitable for bidding and permit applications
  • Monitor construction projects related to electrical systems, ensuring quality and compliance
  • Lead electrical design efforts for a variety of project types
  • Interface directly with clients, acting as the project manager for larger assignments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
  • ~7 Years of experience designing electrical systems for existing buildings
  • Proficiency in specialized engineering software, including AutoCAD and related tools
