Quality Control Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team at Pepsi Beverages Company. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our beverage products by operating and monitoring production lines, performing tests, and using special equipment to ensure package and product quality.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor production lines to ensure efficiency and quality
- Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow
- Perform tests and use special equipment to ensure package and product quality
- Clean equipment and area during and after shift
- Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices
- Follow process guidelines and expedite quality concerns to management
- Work with production/maintenance as necessary
- Keep daily records tests performed and results
- 18 years or older
- Experience with audit compliance, product changeovers, and operating testing instruments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process guidelines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with sensory testing, basic chemistry, and food safety
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and cooling/ammonia systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
