Job Summary

Nooter/Eriksen is seeking a Transportation Project Specialist to join the Logistics Team. This entry-level role is responsible for coordinating the movement, distribution, and storage of materials and finished goods to ensure timely and safe delivery to customer job sites.

The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in Business, Logistics, or Supply-Chain Management, or equivalent work experience. Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Project Management is preferred, with international experience a plus.

The Transportation Project Specialist will create and execute transportation plans, oversee carriers and vendors, and establish relationships for effective transportation strategies. They will also evaluate transportation providers, issue requisitions, and coordinate internally to ensure on-time placement or transportation purchase orders.

The successful candidate will be a highly professional, organized, and trustworthy team player with excellent written and spoken communication skills. They will be proficient in English and have the ability to read, write, problem solve, make quick decisions, interpret data, and analyze results.
