Position Overview:
American Foods Group, LLC is seeking a qualified Industrial Maintenance Technician II to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician II, your role will encompass the following tasks:

- Execute various welding techniques including TIG, MIG, and stick welding.

- Conduct intermediate plumbing tasks such as the installation and maintenance of piping systems.

- Identify and source parts and part numbers using machinery manuals or parts catalogs (e.g., Cryovac, overhead chains, rail switches, conveyors, saws, etc.).

- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine operation and building system efficiency, including greasing bearings, lubricating components, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters.

- Assemble, install, or repair plumbing systems, equipment, or machinery to maintain operational integrity.

- Carry out basic maintenance on forklifts and hydraulic systems.

- Complete necessary documentation including preventive maintenance sheets and work orders.

- Assist in the maintenance of scale equipment in designated areas.

- Report any malfunctions or required repairs to the lead or supervisor.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- High school diploma or GED.

- A minimum of 6 months of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.

Experience with hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to interpret drawings and blueprints is essential.

Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including warm, hot, humid, cold, and wet settings, while adhering to safety protocols.

Availability to work extended hours, including overtime, as production demands dictate.

- Completion of required training programs, including Safety, Safe Quality Food (SQF), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Food Defense, and Lockout/Tagout.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience in a USDA inspected facility.

- Recent work history within the last year.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in basic welding techniques and the ability to assess weld quality.
