Job Description

This role is a key contributor to the success of Williams-Sonoma, Inc.

About the Role

The Procurement Manager is responsible for delivering products within parameters set by design and supporting cross-functional alignment on development goals. This individual will communicate accurate details relating to costing, MOQ, timeline, and product details to all cross-functional partners and vendors/agents. They will also maintain accurate production charts and tools that are consistent with the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

Responsibilities
  • Process: Supports delivering products within parameters set by design. Involved in cross-functional alignment on development goals. Support weekly PD and SSR meetings for all/assigned categories. Communicates accurate details relating to costing, MOQ, timeline, and product details to all cross-functional partners and vendors/agents. Maintains accurate production charts and tools that are consistent with the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Timeline Management:Supports adherence to all timing goals: Product Approval, PO Due Dates, and PLM Validations. Supports the communication on follow-up and troubleshooting timelines.
  • Costing: Supports negotiating newness costing based on financial targets and design parameters.
  • Vendor Development: Develops understanding of vendor capabilities and leverages knowledge.
  • Miscellaneous: Assists with administrative tasks for the department as needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sourcing or relevant professional experience required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to change.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Flex PLM is a plus.
  • This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office.
