Overview

NextEra Energy, America's largest electric company, is seeking a seasoned Sourcing Manager/Leader to join their Integrated Supply Chain Business Unit. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive down the total cost of ownership and increase productivity while developing long-term sourcing strategies.

Job Summary

This key position leads a team of Sourcing Specialists in sourcing contracted services and materials for various operating business units. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement sourcing strategies and programs to meet business requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with assigned business units to facilitate understanding of supply chain needs.
  • Forecasts projected sourcing requirements and manages the pipeline of assigned sourcing activity.
  • Oversees the management of the supplier base, ensuring new sources of supply are continually developed and ongoing supplier performance is monitored.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year (dependent on experience).
